Services

I want to evolve my business infrastructure towards a converged network, how can
NetServices help?

The benefits of converging voice and data on a single network are well recognised. They include reduced communications costs, administrative efficiencies provided by having voice and data on a single IP network, on-net and off-net call savings, and unified messaging deployment.

Network Providers have now largely committed all future development to converged IP-based solutions and over the next decade will be phasing out traditional technologies. Businesses are in various stages of planning and implementing converged strategies so they can maximise the benefits of having a converged network infrastructure. If this concerns you, you are not alone - a recent Vanson Bourne survey showed that over half (53%) of IT Managers surveyed are concerned about or experiencing call quality issues, implying that the potential impact on caller experience and customer service is a significant issue.

Convergence doesn't have to be a 'big bang' event and in fact the majority of our customers have taken a staged approach. NetServices expertise in voice and networking ensures we have all the necessary skills to advise businesses on developing and implementing a convergence roadmap.

Our Solutions:

  • Networking

The complexity of managing a single IP network for so many different business critical applications is daunting as well as resource intensive. NetServices provide Managed MPLS IP VPNs for businesses that simply do not have the in-house resource to do so. Managed MPLS VPNs provide a robust, secure network for corporate, medium and large businesses.

For smaller businesses where an MPLS VPN may be both unnecessary and expensive, a QoS DSL VPN provides the ideal solution. The QoS DSL VPN ensures voice or other real-time applications receive the priority required to ensure business quality delivery of all applications both voice and data, at all times.

  • Voice

Most businesses replacing their outdated PBXs are doing so with an IP based system. NetServices Hosted IP Telephony service is a fully integrated service that combines a feature rich voice application and the networking expertise and infrastructure to ensure business voice quality.

IP telephony can be a fairly major undertaking and for that reason is often broken into a phased roll-out, starting with networking sites so that inter-site call costs can be eliminated and moving ultimately to a complete roll-out with IP phones on all desktops.

SIP Gateway (available October 2007) is the acknowledged protocol to enable presence and mobility solutions. A SIP Gateway removes the need for legacy ISDN connections to sites and runs calls over IP. Call minute rates are cheaper as SIP providers carry aggregated minutes. Costs are further reduced as the hardware and PSTN breakout requirement, including ISDN lines and cards, are no longer required.

System integration is the key driver for system integrators. Systems integrators must be able to provide converged MPLS networks that can deliver Hosted IPT solutions and must be able to use QoS over IPStream and QoS over DataStream that are both forms of QoS over DSL which are better known as QoS over broadband. MPLS broadband services are critical in delivering SIP trunk networks that are services provided by IP Carriers or SIP Carriers. For long term installs you require QoS DataStream and for short term installs you require QoS IPStream. Converged broadband consists of QoS DSL and QoS ADSL to enable the economical delivery of managed video network solution that includes Video over mobile using mobile broadband technology allowing complete Converged video networks. The capability of being able to provide MPLS VPN, Converged MPLS VPN and managed MPLS VPN services ensures NetServices will remain a key systems integrator. Managed Mobile Networks that deliver mobile leased lines can now from part of managed integrated mobile WAN solutions. Managed mobile data services are available in providing synchronous mobility data services and are instantly available for mobile disaster recovery (DR). In the simplest form managed mobile networks that deliver mobile leased lines are a replacement to a fixed line installation if the installations are temporary, mobile or instantly needed.
